■ Difficult English E-mail, Written with AI

Twigfarm prepared a demonstration corner where you can experience the business email translation function of Gcon Studio, an AI (artificial intelligence) translation service. This function helps to write business emails in English by embedding templates for each situation such as product introduction, inquiry, and quotation.

If you fill in the pre-prepared template with the other party's name, date, and purpose, you can simply write an English email. If there is no email with the desired content in the template, it is also possible to automatically translate Korean emails into English or English emails into Korean.

This service reduces the burden of work for SMEs and startups that cannot hire foreign language-related personnel such as English translators at all times, and reduces the risk of being disrespectful with incorrect expressions. Individuals can use it for free only for non-commercial use, and professionals or companies must use the monthly paid service.

An official from Twigfarm, which operates the service, said, "We will continue to learn the contents of books related to how to write English business emails on the market, and at the same time increase the accuracy of translation through user feedback."

■ Hard Indoor Cycling, More Enjoyable and Realistic

VR Carver submitted a synchro bike, a sports simulator that combines an indoor cycle device with a built-in curved track device and a VR headset. Unlike indoor cycles, where the pedaling speed was different, both front and rear (pie), left and right (rolling), and rotation (yoying) were implemented.

Trackmaster, a dedicated software, is used for cycle control and VR content playback. If obstacles such as corners or deer appear on the screen while wearing an HTC VIVE, you should tilt your body as if you were actually riding a bicycle and break evade them.

Trackmaster currently includes 4 maps with cornering: Ulsan Gantiago, Jeju Seongsan Ilchulbong, American Grand Canyon, and China's Zhangjiajie. It can be controlled not only from a large desktop PC, but also from a gaming laptop equipped with a separate graphics chipset.

A VR Carver official explained, "The brake strength that changes according to the slope of the cycling road appearing in the game is implemented, and more effective aerobic exercise is possible by combining not only simple straight running but also front, left, right, and cornering."
