Twigfarm Launches an Open Beta of E-mail-based Translation Service "heybunny"

2020-04-06

Twigfarm (CEO Baek Sun-ho) announced on the 6th that it has launched an open beta service for easy and fast translation named "heybunny" that can be utilized via e-mail.

heybunny is a mail address-based translation service that is free for anyone to use regardless of email clients. There is no need to download or install a separate program for the cloud-based online service.

There is no need to visit websites such as Google Translation, Papago Translation, and Kakao i Translation. If you send an e-mail that needs translation to heybunny, the translated contents will be sent back to your e-mail address. It can be used anywhere in an environment where you send e-mails, without being tied specifically to desktops and mobile devices.

Another difference from other translation services is maintaining the style of e-mail. Other translation services do not support styles such as table composition or underline because they can only enter letters, but heybunny can translate while maintaining the style applicable in the email, making it easier to check the translation.

Twigfarm, which developed heybunny, is a specialized company that provides artificial intelligence-based translation solutions. Although it is an artificial intelligence (AI) machine translation field where global leading companies such as Google and Microsoft stand out, it has already been recognized for its technology and competitiveness by surpassing Google in the Korean-English machine translation sector in 2019.

Baek Chul-ho, director of Twigfarm, said, "After four years of natural language processing research and platform development, we have launched a platform that matches translators and clients, a solution that manages corporate translation documents, and automates translation companies' processes. ‘heybunny,’ which we launched, is easy to use." He further said, “Currently, Korean and English translations are available, and we plan to continuously increase the number of supported languages. We will do our best to provide a convenient and enjoyable experience.”
